Dr. Wendy Parnell is a native of Dallas, Texas. After graduating from the Greenhill School, she attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where graduated with a BS in neuroscience and behavioral biology. She received her medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. In 2011 she completed her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
Dr. Parnell values the immeasurable training and vast experiences she had at Parkland Hospital and UT Southwestern. She is now an active member of the staff at Medical City Dallas. Her practice includes pregnancy, annual exams, gynecology, and gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive and robotic procedures. Dr. Parnell provides information and support to young women coming into the office for their first visit. She enjoys spending time in her community sharing valuable information to high school girls.

Dr. Parnell is a member of the Texas Medical Association and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves on the Board of Directors for following organizations; the Dallas County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust, and the Diabetes Health and Wellness Institute.
Dr. Parnell is also President of the Dallas/Forth Worth chapter of the National Medical Association (CV Roman Medical Society).
